Yamaha’s DD-5 drum unit came out in 1989, offering PCM drum sounds that can be played with 4 pads or via some built-in drum patterns. These days it’s notable for being a cheap method of getting some MIDI drum pads–nobody’s buying it for the sounds.

EXECEPT ME! This pack includes some clean samples of the drum sounds, but everything is a lot more fun when you mangle them with some Eurorack filters and effects.
